Meet the Team

Jennifer Martell

President / Owner

jmmartell@apexintegrated.net

Jennifer listens with true curiosity. No matter the situation she’s put in, she adapts and succeeds in any scenario. Her colleagues know that she’ll never wait for change to come to her; she anticipates what changes are needed — or headed her way — and she prepares her team for success.

Her peers have noted that Jennifer is emotionally intelligent but that she never lets feelings get in the way of great work. That’s because she’s a great communicator who knows how to engage proactively and productively, leaving little room for misunderstanding. Whether sharing her vision with her team or outlining the scope of a project, she’s concise and clear. Her ability to communicate well strengthens new connections, bolsters long-term relationships, and boosts her company’s reputation.

A true believer in teamwork, Jennifer is hands-on and self-driven in getting things done. On projects large and small, she makes it her role to uncover what’s possible and to be bolder in the pursuit of what matters.

 STRENGTH IN SECURITY

The Woman Behind the Shield

Women-owned businesses in construction foster diversity and innovation, playing a pivotal role in the industry. In fact, a report from the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce, women-owned firms account for approximately 14% of businesses in the security and life safety services sector.

Diverse teams, including those with female leaders, bring new viewpoints and approaches to problem-solving to the security and life safety process. The Construction Industry Institute (CII) suggests that diverse teams, including those led by women, enhance security and life safety, leading to project success and improved financial performance.

Promoting women-owned businesses in the security and life safety industry not only promotes gender equality but also enhances the industry’s adaptability to changing security threats. Now that sounds like power.
